When on business trips, it is rare that I get a chance to really take in the sites. That’s a good thing! It means I’m busy and that is always good. However, on a recent trip to Saskatoon, I had 45 minutes of pure bliss one sunny morning. I was staying at the elegant Delta Bessborough downtown on the riverfront. Along the river is a winding path that is perfect for head-clearing strolls. I had some time before a long drive to Regina; it was a sunny, crisp morning, so I grabbed my new little Canon Elph and hit the path. The picture above was taken just outside of the Bessborough facing east. The best walk EVER! And not a bad snap from a point and shoot camera. Wish I had the gumption to take a shot of my new freckles on that day…

Glen – it’s great to hear from you, and WOW, the volcano shots are simply awesome! What causes the lightening?
How have you been? Did you have a good winter up in PG? I see our BC project has come along quite nicely – well done!
