London Calling

Today I was fortunate to watch some amazing Canadian athletes vie for a spot on our Summer Olympic Team competing in London in just a few weeks. Beach volleyball is perhaps one of my favourite sports as it requires a level of athleticism and fitness that is hard to match in other sports. On this hot day down at Ashbridge’s Bay in Toronto, Annie Martin and Marie-Andree Lessard managed to outlast Heather Bansley and Liz Maloney, while Josh Binstock and Martin Reader dominated in a two set victory over Ben Saxton and Christian Redmann.  I had front row seats for both matches and managed to get a few snaps off when I remembered to stop being a spectator 🙂  You can find my snaps here.
